Intermittent Training

No time? Really? Not even 4 minutes?! Come on! All you need is your belief in your own will power, something that goes like this “I know I can do it and I sure will and it’s only 4 minutes. Kick start your day with fat frying, mood boosting and energizing workout blast that will rave up your metabolism for the rest of the day and will make you feel so proud of yourself.

No time?

This workout can ‘’interrupt’’ your body results plateau and make you achieve better results i.e. if you consistently do same routines your body gets used to it and hence you don’t get the results you set to get so you need a little more kick for your system and what a way: Tabata Style, High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. Usual HIIT sessions may vary from 4–30 minutes. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning.

These are my favorites if you would like to try… you can perform one cycle of 4 minutes (2 or 3 if you are up to it) consisting of 30 seconds each exercise, 4 exercises repeated twice. Or it can be 8 different exercises, one after the other for 30 seconds each or if you need to give yourself a little rest try to do exercise for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. Also the emphasis of Tabata can be on the most desired muscle group i.e. legs, abs, butt, arms or a mixture. Try it and you will notice a change quite rapidly.

The lady in this video combined the tabata 4 minutes workout with intermittent fasting that can double up the desired goal of losing fat. You won’t faint, honestly, I did it many times so as many others. It will seriously propel your metabolism to flying really high. Ha ha :-D   She actually explains the intermittent fasting in her video. Have a look. She’s got a serious body on her. I know, not everybody’s cup of tea or coffee, but still… something to strive for in a pursuit of fitting in that favorite dress.
